Aerial Structural and Thermal Analytics

Time: 12:00 p.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Speaker: Jason Eaton, Chief UAV Pilot, Airborne Inspections

There has been an increasing need for inspections of building envelopes using UAV’s (“Unmanned Aerial Vehicles”). UAV’s have the ability to provide both RGB and/or thermal imaging to capture structural anomalies as well as identify heat loss areas. In addition, the Geo Export platform enables users to deliver Radiometric and Volumetric readings for developers in addition to surveying and mapping.

This demo will showcase UAV – Topcon Falcon 8. It has successfully been used for inspecting commercial and residential buildings, historical sites, pipelines and oil rigs. In addition, the software has been developed by Sky-Futures which presents a very concise report to clients that their engineers can use in planning restoration work, a reserve fund study or an ongoing development.
